Latest Gujarat Coronavirus Update Highlight 08/05/2020
390 new cases have been reported in the state in 24 hours. While 24 patients have died. So 163 patients have recovered and returned home. Giving updated details of Corona, Principal Secretary Health Jayanti Ravi said that out of 390 newly registered cases, 269 were in Ahmedabad, 25 in Surat and Vadodara and 20 in Aravalli. With this, the total number of positive patients in the state has reached 7403. While the death toll has reached 449. A total of 1872 patients have been discharged in the state so far.

The Home Minister has successfully responded to the proposal made by Chief Minister Vijay Rupani to Union Home Minister Amit Shah to send a team of best doctors to Gujarat for guidance in the current Corona-Covid-19 situation. AIIMS New Delhi Director and Senior Physician Dr. Randeep Guleria and Dr. Manish Suneja will reach Ahmedabad on Friday night. The doctors will visit Kovid-12 Hospital and SVP Hospital on the Civil Hospital campus on Saturday. These two senior doctors will provide necessary advice and guidance by interacting with the doctors, paramedical staff as well as patients treating coronaries in Gujarat.

Gandhinagar workers sent home, 100 workers stranded due to lack of online booking
Gandhinagar ST depot was once again sent to Uttar Pradesh from Sabarmati railway station by ST bus this morning. But this time more than 100 workers went berserk without online booking.
