The state government launched a scholarship program for admission to class 6 in Gnanshakti Residential Schools, Gnanshakti Tribal Residential Schools, Rakshashakti Schools, and Model Schools, as well as the Chief Minister Gnanasetu Merit Scholarship Scheme, on the basis of Common Entrance Test (CET) merit. The program will run from the academic session of 2023 to 2024. The State Examination Board has set the date for the Common Entrance Test (CET) for the 2024–2025 academic year.

The State Education Department of Gujarat has launched the Gyan Sadhna scholarship scheme. This scheme will help the financially unstable student to continue their education without worrying about any financial trouble.
Gyan Sadhana Scholarship Exam 2023
Academic merit will be recognized with scholarships. The gifted students enrolled in this program will receive a scholarship of Rs. 25,000 annually, Rs. 20,000 annually for classes 9 through 10, and Rs. 25,000 annually for classes 11 through 12. The scholarship money will be transferred straight into the recipient’s bank account via DBT, and students in classes 1 through 8 must maintain continuous enrollment in government or assisted schools.
STD 6 Gyan Sadhana Scholarship Exam 2024
The Gujarat Chief Minister declared that the state’s 9th through 12th grade students would be eligible to apply for the Gyan Sadhana Scholarship Scheme starting in 2024. The application form must be completed by the students and submitted through the portal. Students then have to take the competitive exam on June 11th. The program’s benefits will be available to the students who receive the highest grades.
Gyan Sadhana Scholarship Eligibility Criteria
- Students must have passed the 8th standard and enrolled under classes 9th to 12th.
- Applying students must have the necessary documents required for the Gyan Sadhana Scholarship.
- Applying student annual household income of rural students must not exceed 1.5 lakh and for urban students, the household income must not exceed Rs 1.5 lakh annually.
- The eligibility or selection of students will be done on the basis of their eligibility criteria and annual family income and Students need to attend 80% attendance in school.

The following points are the Benefits of the Gyan Sadhana Scholarship that students will receive under this scholarship:
- For the students studying in classes 9 to 10 who are eligible for the scholarship, the state government of Gujarat will provide you 20,000 Rupees annually.
