The state government has issued a circular directing schools in its jurisdiction to display names and photographs of Teacher Profile Namuno, and the subjects they teach, on school notice boards.

The circular was issued under the Right to Education Act. Teacher Profile Namuno Sources said that the government has directed Gujarat Board and central board schools to comply with the instruction immediately.The circular was issued by the director of primary education following a directive sent by the ministry of human resources development.
