(Time from 23-59 hours of night) can fill the online application form on the website “https://ojas.gujarat.gov.in”. A candidate can apply only once for one category. However, if a candidate registers more than one application, in the case of such candidates, the last confirmed application will be considered valid and all other applications will be cancelled. Detailed instructions regarding this matter are given in sub-point no. is also given in (14).

How To Fill Up Candidates to Application form:-

  • (1) First go to “https://ojas.gujarat.gov.in” website. and thereafter
  • (2) Click on Apply in “ On line Application ” and select GSSSB.
  • (3) The candidate should click on the name of the category of advertisement for which he wants to apply for advertisement number:- 212/202324 to 225/202324 and click on Apply . After that the option of More Details and Apply now will open on the screen. Clicking on More Details will show detailed advertisement details. Which candidates should read.
  • (4) When clicking on “Apply now” a new window will open. In which clicking on “Skip” will open Application Format in which first “Personal Details”. To be filled by the candidate. (The details marked with a red dot (*) are mandatory here.)
  • (5) ” Educational Details ” should be filled after filling Personal Details .
  • (6) Then select “es” to accept the conditions mentioned in “ Assurance ”. Now the application is completely filled.
  • (7) Now by clicking on “save” the “ Application Number ” of the candidate will be generated. Which the candidate has to keep.
  • (8) Now click on Upload Photograph, type your application number here and type your date of birth. Then click on ok. Photo and signature are to be uploaded here. (Photo size should be 5 cm height and 3.6 cm width and signature should be 2.5 cm height and 7.5 cm width.) (To upload photo and signature, all First, your photo and signature should be scanned in jpg format (15 kb) and saved in the computer in such a way that it does not exceed the size.) Click on “browse” button to upload photo and signature. Now from the choose file screen, select the file in which your photo is stored in jpg format and click on the “open” button. Now click on “upload” button next to “browse button” . Now your photo will appear next to it. Now the signature also has to be uploaded in this way. The photo and signature which have been uploaded must be pasted in the attendance sheet of the written examination and the same signature must be done and the same photo must be submitted when requested by the head of the department/concerned department at every stage of this recruitment process till the appointment. So keep four to five copies of the photograph. If different photographs are submitted at different stages, there may be hindrance in allotment/appointment. The responsibility of which will be the candidate’s own.
  • (9) Now click on “Confirm Application” in the Online Application tab at the top of the page and after typing “Application number” and Birth Date click on Ok, the basic details of the candidate and confirm application will appear. If the candidate feels the need to amend the application, edit it. Any kind of correction can be made before confirming the application. But after the confirmation of the application, any kind of correction will not be possible. After complete verification, if there is no need to correct the application, then click on confirm application . So the candidate’s application will be accepted online in the board. Once the online application is confirmed, no change can be made by the candidate or the organization. The candidate has to produce the certificates in accordance with the details mentioned in the application when asked by the board. Hence, the candidate should first fill in his name, husband/father’s name, surname, date of birth, educational qualification, caste (category), gender (male/female), ex-serviceman, sports, marital status, widow etc. After careful verification, the corresponding details have to be shown in the online application. If any discrepancy is found between the details mentioned in the online application form and the certificates produced by the candidate before the Board while seeking the verified certificates by the Board, such defective applications will be ‘cancelled’ by the Board from that stage. In case of rejection of defective application due to wrong or incomplete details, the Board shall not be responsible. Hence, candidates are advised to take special care to indicate the relevant details based on the certificates they possess while applying online. After clicking on confirm application, ” confirmation number ” will be generated here. Which is necessary for all subsequent procedures, the candidate has to save.
  • (10) Now click on print application . Here, by selecting the advertisement number from Select Job , typing your confirmation number and typing your date of birth, your application will open. Take a print copy and keep it. It is in the interest of the candidate that the registered candidate should download the Online Application Form till the last date of application and save it till the entire recruitment process is completed. Candidates will not be able to download the Application Form after the last date of application.
  • (11) Candidates should submit only one application for each advertisement. However, incidentally, if a candidate has applied more than once, the last confirmed application will be accepted and the other application forms will be treated as cancelled. Unreserved category candidates who have paid the prescribed fee with the last confirmed application will be considered valid and the previous application will be considered cancelled. The fee paid with the previous application will not be counted against the last confirmed application. If the candidate has not paid the prescribed fee with the last confirmed application, the last confirmed application with the prescribed fee among the remaining applications of such candidate will be considered valid. If the candidate has paid the fee with more than one application, it will not be refunded.

Exam Fee:-

→ All candidates who have selected (indicated) “General” category while filling the form (except PH and Ex. Servicemen category) have to pay the examination fee. The last date for online fee payment from OJAS website will be till 05/12/2023 (23-59 hours).

A reserved category candidate will not have to pay the examination fee even if he applies for a non-reserved seat. But for exemption from examination fee those reserved category candidates will have to indicate their category in the online application. Otherwise the examination fee has to be paid. Candidates who select the following categories in the application form will not have to pay any kind of examination fee.

  • (a) Women candidates of all categories
  • (b) Scheduled Caste (SC)
  • (c) Scheduled Caste (ST)
  • (d) Socially and Educationally Backward Class (SEBC)
  • (f) Economically Weaker Section (EWS)
  • (vi) Ex-serviceman (Ex. Serviceman) of all categories
  • (j) Physically Handicapped Candidates (PH) of all categories

Candidates who have to pay the fee will have to fill the compulsory online form for payment of the examination fee when they submit their application on the OJAS website. To pay fees through online mode, options for Online Application Print Application Form / Pay Fees Click Online Payment will appear on OJAS website. In which to click on Online Payment of Fees. In which payment has to be made through Debit Card, Internet Banking, UPI or Wallets. After paying the fee through any one of these four means, a receipt will be generated, the print of which will be instructed to be obtained. Candidates have to get a print of this receipt. After clicking on Print Application Form / Pay Fees in the Online Application tab , you can also get a print of the receipt by clicking on Online Payment Receipt . Candidates who pay the fee through online mode will have to pay Rs.100 towards examination fee and transaction fee as per rules.

Refunds are not amenable after payment of examination fee and the fee shall not be kept as reserve for any other examination. Application of candidates who are liable to pay examination fee will not be accepted without payment of fee. Candidates who have selected the “General” category (except for physically challenged and ex-serviceman category) who do not pay the examination fee within the prescribed time limit, the application form of such candidates will be “cancelled” by the board without any intimation.
